100+ Men Red Rock presented a $10,000 check to the Awakening Grace Foundation in Pella on Friday.

Awakening Grace has a mission to support families who have experienced the loss of a child during pregnancy and infancy, and provide support services, care packages, financial assistance, miscarriage support, and other individualized services needed by each family. The funds from the donation will be put toward supporting families in need of their services throughout Marion County. Tony Briggs with 100+ Men Red Rock said that he and the group of men are grateful to have the ability to not only help support organizations like Awakening Grace financially, but also by raising awareness of the great work they are doing in the Red Rock area.

“It’s heart-warming for those that are actively involved in 100+ Men that they know their specific contribution, that they get to vote on, goes towards helping those organizations. But I think through check presentations and these interviews, it’s really a good thing to just increase the exposure and the knowledge of what’s going on there and how we can help and support people in our local community.”
