The Indianola boys track and field team won the first annual Warren County Relays on Monday at Simpson College scoring 213 team points, while the girls placed fourth with 100 points running mainly junior varsity.

The Indians boys got first place finishes from Nick Bradly in the 100m, Kaisen Storm in the 400m Hurdles and High Jump, Sam Appel in the 800m, Aiden Curtis in the Discus, Lathan McDaniel in the Shot Put, and the 4x200m, 4x400m, and 4x800m Relay teams.

The Indians girls earned a first place finish from Kaelyn Bass in the 400m and Sam Gripp in the Shot Put, while Elyse Bierman was second in the 400m and Haley New was second in the Discus.

The girls squad sends a varsity contingent to Waukee Northwest today, while the boys will host their annual meet on Thursday.
