Shelter rentals are now available for rent through the Knoxville Parks and Recreation department.

These rentals are for shelters that are available at Auld Park, which citizens can use for any gathering throughout the next several months. To reserve a shelter, residents can visit or call the Recreation Center, and Knoxville Parks and Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers says they are available into the middle of October.

“Those shelters are rentable from April 15th through October 15th. We have people that rent them a year in advance. They have their weekend for their family reunion and they want to keep it the same every year. We’re very fortunate to have people support us in those areas as well.”

The Knoxville Recreation Center is located at 800 S Park Lane Dr.
