Sign up starts today for the summer camp programs hosted by Jasper County Conservation. Conservation Naturalist Catie Cantu says the sign up is done through https://www.mycountyparks.com
“All the camps will be listed there and people can select what they want to sign their child up for and have it paid for and everything on that website.”
Cantu says most camps last a day or two and are for ages five through twelve. There are some options for 14 through 16 year olds. Some of the more popular camps according to Cantu, include fishing, archery, and water sports. They are all held at various county parks across Jasper County. Cantu says 300-to -400 kids typically participate in these summer camps each year.
