The Knoxville Public Library is offering memory kits that support those struggling with dementia.

These memory kits from the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias Program at the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services provide possible activities you can do alongside someone living with dementia. In the kits you will find activities that appeal to different senses and are applicable to different stages of dementia. You will also find books that help explain the disease, offer tips for you as a care partner and more. These kits are available for checkout and are located near the puzzles and magazines.
