Pella Christian High School had several band and choir students who performed solos and small ensembles recently at the Iowa High School Music Association’s State Music Festival. Among Pella Christian’s performances, the duet of sophomores Bella De Haan and Ella Hodgell were selected as the top event of the day in their center and received the Outstanding Performance Award for their vocal ensemble. De Haan and Hodgell will be invited to perform again at the Outstanding Performers Showcase at Iowa State on Tuesday, May 20th.
