The Jasper County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2026 Fiscal Year Budget Tuesday. The Budget Hearing will lead off the meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room at the Jasper County Courthouse in Newton. Immediately following the hearing, the County Supervisors are scheduled to vote on the budget proposal. It includes a $9.68 levy rate for countywide and rural services, which would generate over $17.4 million in property taxes.
