The Indianola City Council meets in regular session this evening, with Mayor Steve Richardson providing the oath of office to two additional Firefighter/Paramedics Joe Colby and Micah Rice.

Mayor Richardson will also read proclamations regarding Arbor Day and 50125 Day in Indianola. The council will consider a change in the city ordinance to allow the use of recreational fire pits and similar setups in residential properties and discuss Vision 2030 before going into closed session to discuss personnel. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
