The Warren County Board of Supervisors meets in a pair of special meetings today, including the public hearing on the FY26 budget. The board will first meet in a work session to discuss insurance, a trail easement discussion with the City of Cumming, and employment in the Treasurer, Conservation, and the Zoning departments. The board will then meet in closed session to discuss litigation.
In the evening, the board will hold the public hearing on the FY26 budget. Board Chair Aaron DeKock said the budget shows county spending down from FY25, and the county property tax levy rate is down. The work session begins at 9am, and the budget public hearing begins at 5:30pm.
