WeLIFT Job Search Center and the Indianola Chamber of Commerce are partnering to host a session for employers and employees in the area, titled Substance Use & The Workplace. The event is designed to equip employers and employees with the knowledge and strategies needed to address substance use in professional settings. This event will cover the substance use spectrum, its impact on businesses, Narcan training, and how to protect employees through effective policies.

The summit is the third annual partnership seminar designed to educate local business owners and employees, with the first focusing on the importance of mental health in the workplace and another on incarceration and reintegration.
