The Knoxville Public Library is holding a nature writing workshop with author Natalie Ogbourne on Tuesday.

Ogbourne is the author of “Waking up in the Wilderness: A Yellowstone Journey” and will be at the library to help teach attendees about writing about nature. Those attending should plan on bringing writing supplies and a picture of your favorite outdoor location. Knoxville Public Library Director Ashley Miller hopes this will be the first event held at the library’s new Dixie Garden park.

“Hopefully weather dependent this will be outside in Dixie’s Garden which will be our first official programming event in our newly renovated garden which will hopefully be blooming when the end of the month rolls around.”

All Knoxville Public Library programming is free and open to the public.
