Today is Jay Byers Day in the City of Indianola, as proclaimed by Indianola Mayor Steve Richardson at their meeting Monday.
Simpson College held a vigil to honor the life of President Byers Thursday evening, reflecting on his life and enduring impact on the campus after Byers passed away last week.
