The Pella Opera House will host the Grammy Award nominated bluegrass band Sister Sadie for their rescheduled concert tomorrow at 7 pm.
Sister Sadie was originally scheduled to perform at the opera house in January, but had to reschedule to attend the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where their new album “No Fear” was selected as a finalist for Best Bluegrass Album. Pella Opera House Executive Director Cyndi Atkins said they are grateful that Sister Sadie was able to reschedule the concert, and encourages everyone to come enjoy the show.
“Bluegrass is actually not something we’ve had here in a number of years. So all you bluegrass fans, you need to look online and get your tickets for Sister Sadie, knowing that you’re going to be listening to one of the up and coming bluegrass bands. For people who already had their tickets to the January show, they need to know that we just moved their seats automatically to the April show. But if anyone who had tickets in January has a conflict, just give me a call at the Pella Opera House.”
