The Simpson College and Central College baseball teams will face off in a three game American Rivers Conference series starting today.

The Storm are currently 13-19 overall and sit at 7-11 in conference play while the Dutch are 15-17 overall and 6-12 in league play. Simpson is coming off a 7-4 win over Buena Vista on Monday and a split with Nebraska Wesleyan on Tuesday. Central took one of three from Nebraska Wesleyan in a three game series held in Pella last weekend in their last action. The Storm currently carry a team batting average of .256 and a team ERA of 5.75 while the Dutch are batting .271 with a team ERA 5.39. 

Last year when the two teams met Simpson won the series 2-1. First pitch of today’s game will be at 3:00 pm which can be heard live on the KRLS2 stream and Saturday’s games will start at 1:00 pm which can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS.
