The Simpson Storm softball team, ranked #13 in the country, can secure at least a share of the regular season American Rivers Conference title today as they host the Coe College Kohawks. The Storm broke the single season home run record in a sweep at Luther on Tuesday, and match up with a Kohawks squad that is 4-8 and fighting for a spot in the conference tournament. Simpson is currently in first place in the conference standings, but are tied with Nebraska Wesleyan and Central in the loss column with three, and with a sweep would secure no worse than a tie atop the conference standings. The games will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage begins at 12:45pm, with first pitch at 1pm.
