Knoxville Boys Soccer Player Riley Sailors has signed to continue his career at Grand View next year. Sailors has been the backup goalkeeper for the Panthers this year, but a couple of weeks ago was pressed into action when starting goalie Carson Cecil was injured. Sailors tells KNIA/KRLS he learned a lot about himself and what it is like to be the last line of defense for the Panthers.

Sailors: “He put a lot of confidence into me and that was the main thing. He told me to just play, and he put so much confidence in me and that was one of the main things.”

The Panthers went 3-0-1 during the time Sailors was the starter. He currently has 14 saves this season and has helped lead the Panthers to a 9-1-3 record.
