The Indianola City Council approved a leadership restructure at the Indianola Wellness Campus at their meeting Monday, after former Executive Director Heather Hulen stepped down in early June to take a new position. City Manager Jake Meshke tells KNIA News council and staff have been looking for ways to streamline staff at the IWC, and they feel this new position helps that process.

“We had some staff turnover at the Executive Director level as well as two other part-time leadership positions at the Indianola Wellness Campus. With that our Parks and Rec Director really dove in and engaged the staff at the IWC, and found that we would be better served combining some positions and ultimately creating a new position the Member Services Coordinator.”
