[simage=4718,200,y,left] Jury selection in the case against Michael Miller begins today in the Clarke County Courthouse in Osceola. Miller has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Theresa Miller. Michael allegedly offered to pay his co-worker, Terry Cobbins, Jr., to kill Theresa so he could be with another woman. Cobbins was found guilty earlier this month of first-degree murder in the case.
According to court documents, Michael Miller says he had no involvement in his wife’s death. He claims a woman he had a one-time affair with could have gotten Cobbins to commit the murder so she could be with Michael. The trial was moved to Clarke County earlier this month after the defense filed a motion stating that there couldn’t be a fair trial in Marion County due to extensive coverage of the Cobbins trial.
