[simage=6955,200,y,left] Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz will be in Knoxville Wednesday evening as he travels across the state promoting the “Vote in Honor of a Veteran” program. The program is designed to honor the sacrifices that veterans have made throughout history to protect our freedom, including the right to vote. Schultz says exercising your right to vote is a simple yet powerful way to honor a veteran. Schultz will be at the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce at 6pm Wednesday, where he’ll speak to veterans about the new program as well as provide information on how technology is making voting easier for men and women serving overseas.
