Drivers in Pella may notice something new on the roads. The Pella Police Department has a new vehicle. The vehicle looks different than the previous police vehicles, with black front and back ends with white on the doors, in contrast with the all white older vehicles. Police Chief Robert Bokinsky says that police vehicle only have a lifespan of about 5 years, and they try to rotate in new vehicles when their older vehicles hit that limit.The department will have another new vehicle in late August as well.
