Deadlines are coming for early voting and absentee ballots. Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia says that the last day residents request an absentee ballot be mailed out is tomorrow. All those absentee ballots must then be turned in or postmarked by Monday.

Grandia says the Auditor’s Office will remain open Saturday from 8am-5pm for absontee voting. Residents are welcome to vote at the Courthouse through Monday. On Election Day, however, Grandia says they must go to their respective precinct sites to vote – no voting will occur in the Courthouse.
