Following their first loss of the season Thursday at the hands of PCM, the Pella Christian Eagles’ boys’ basketball team will take a break from doubleheader action with the girls and go on their own for a change, making a trip to Albia later today. The Eagles fell 61 – 55 to PCM in what could be considered an off-night of shooting for the Eagles, as they played a clean game turnover-wise, but the shots just wouldn’t drop for Pella Christian. Albia themselves are coming off a tough loss at the hands of Chariton on Friday, losing 59 – 57. The Eagles are 3 – 1 on the year, while Albia enters with a record of 2 – 2. The game tips off at around 5:00 p.m. this evening.
