Pleasantville split Tuesday nights double header, with Southeast Warren winning the girls game and the Trojans taking the boys game. The Pleasantville girls started the night off with a heartbreaking loss to the Warhawks. The Trojans looked to be heading to the locker down eight, but Kennedy Core sank a big shot at the buzzer. That three made it 24 – 19. The Trojans would rally and tie the game at 30 midway through the fourth quarter but a series a turnovers and missed shots in the final minutes allowed Southeast Warren to pull away for a 51-41 win. Pleasantville girls are now 0-9 on the year. On the boys’ side, Pleasantville had one of their biggest wins on the year as they took down the Warhawks 74-34 on Tuesday night. The Trojans ended the first quarter with a 30-3 lead and never looked back. The Trojans’ boys are now 6-1 on the season. Both the girls and boys will be in action next at Chariton on Friday.
