NASCAR and Sprint Car Driver Jason Leffler was killed in a racing accident last night at a track in Bridgeport, New Jersey. According to reports, Leffler’s 410 sprint car crashed during a heat race. he was taken to a local hospital and prononced dead at around 8:00pm. Knoxville Race Director John McCoy says it’s a loss for the racing world. “Anytime we lose one of our own we all feel the pain, and our thoughts are with his family at this time. Whenever accidents happen, we only hope we can learn from them, so they don’t happen again.” Leffler was 37 years old.
