It was back to a regular triple header of sprint car racing Saturday night at the Knoxville Raceway. Larry Ball Jr. won the 305 A-Main, but before the field could get through turn one of the first lap, half the field was taken out due to a crash. All drivers were O-K, but eight cars were left to fight it out. Ball passed Steve Breazeale about half way through and led the rest of the way. Clint Garner won the most exciting race as he made pass in the last 100 feet to beat Joe Beaver to the line and claim his fifth race of the season at Knoxville. The 410 A-Main was won by Bronson Maeschen as he blew past Dustin Selvage early on and sailed through lapped traffic to pick up his third career win at the Raceway. Unofficially, Maeschen now has a 50-point lead Ian Madsen who finished eighth. The points become official at the close of business at the Knoxville Raceway today.
