Lieutenant Governor Patty Judge made stops at the Tassel Ridge Winery near Leighton and the Vermeer Mill and Historical Village in Pella Wednesday as part of her “Travel Iowa ‘09” tour. Judge tells KNIA/KRLS News she has enjoyed all of the sights and interesting people she’s met along the way, and says in-state tourism continues to do well, despite the ailing economy.
