The PCM boys are off to a quick 6 – 0 start to their 2013-14 basketball season. They have used good shooting and a tough defense to stay undefeated through six contests. The Mustangs are averaging just under 73 points per game, with nearly half of those points coming from Dillon Bruxvoort and Logan Gillman, who have combined for 35.5 points on average per game. Coach Fred Lorensen says their success goes back to a good set of summer games they were able to play. Coach Lorensen adds he hopes that their hot start doesn’t cool down anytime soon, and it would help them out if that were the case, especially right when they get back from the holiday break. Once the calendar turns, the Mustangs have to play at North Polk, Saydel and home against Nevada for a tough gamut of games to begin 2014.
