Junior Central running back, Josh Osborn, was able to attend the NCAA Convention last week thanks to a grant. That grant was issued to the Iowa Conference from the NCAA and allows opportunities for ethnic minorities to attend professional development events. Osborn and other athletes from Divisions I, II and III all met at the convention to discuss and vote on key topics in higher education and intercollegiate athletics. Osborn was on the first team all-Iowa Conference after finishing second in the league with 936 yards on 185 carries, and was fourth in touchdowns with nine.
