The Knoxville School Board is scheduled to meet Monday evening. Items on the agenda include an update from Energy Manager Mike Moats about current energy savings and the potential for additional savings, the initial proposal of amendments to the Master Contract by the Knoxville Education Association, along with continued discussion about budget issues and the disposition of the old junior high building. The board will also schedule make up days that were lost due to inclement weather this winter and approve a request by the high school’s jazz band to participate in an out-of-state contest. The Knoxville School Board will meet at 5:00pm Monday.
