The program will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Iowa Speedway – Newton Club, 3333 Rusty Wallace Drive, Newton, Iowa. Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the program runs from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM with complimentary lunch served at noon.
Featured presentations include: “Stover Project and Iowa Corn Research Update”by David Ertl, Ph.D., Technology Commercialization Manager at Iowa Corn, “Busting Soybean Yield Barriers Without Breaking the Bank” by Ryan Van Roekel at University of Arkansas, ”The Changing of the Guard – Market Outlook” by Darin Newson at DTN (Data Transmission Network).
“With today’s market volatility and weather challenges, it is important to have up-to-date information,” says Carrie Dodds, ICGA/ICPB district field manager. “The crop fair program should give local growers access to information that can really help their bottom line.”
