Spring is near, and area school kids are looking forward to a few days off for spring break. South of the river, Knoxville will have a break next week, on March 20 and 21. Twin Cedars kids are out of school this week, with days off Thursday and Friday. Pleasantville will have a full week off next week, with no classes from March 17 through the 21st. Melcher-Dallas’ two-day spring break will be later, on Good Friday this year, which is April 19, as well as the following Monday April 21.
