Excitement and anticipation ran high at the packed Knoxville Performing Arts Center Wednesday night as Knoxville High seniors and their families gathered for the Annual Knoxville Scholarship Recognition Program. Over one hundred seniors were recognized with Knoxville Community and Knoxville Dollars for Scholars awards. Over 100 organizations and individuals contributed awards for students. In the past eleven years, Dollars for Scholars has awarded 839 applicants over $500,000 for their post-graduate work.
