Entering the season having lost a good chunk of seniors from the year before, the young Pella High softball team showed much improvement from the beginning of the season to the end. Coach Krista DeMeulenaere says there weren’t any specific areas the coaching staff noticed were “better” by the conclusion of 2014. She mentions that the girls’ desire and yearning to get better was the biggest “improvement” this season. The Lady Dutch lost three seniors from their varsity squad and will bring back a plethora of sophomores for 2015.
