Making it to the Class 2A district semifinals, the PCM baseball team earned all-conference and district honors for 2014. Jerod DeVries was selected to the second team as a catcher for the Heart of Iowa Conference. The junior hit .303 on the season with a double and eight RBI’s. Trey Lindsay and Austin Brown each received an honorable mention. On the All-District team from PCM were both Brown and Zach Uhlenhopp, who were each selected to the second team. Brown as a pitcher went 6 – 4 this year with a 1.98 ERA and 67 strikeouts. Uhlenhopp as a senior hit .360 this year with a double and nine runs batted in. PCM finished 11 – 15 on the year.
