Some familiar teams, some not so familiar and one glaring absence complete Class 3A district eight in high school football. Knoxville Football Coach Chris Hudson likes the district set up. He says it could be one of best districts in the state with an up and coming Norwalk team, and Dallas Center-Grimes. He adds the absence of Pella will give the schedule a different feel but hopes to play Pella in a non-district game in the first two weeks of the season. Hudson says the addition of Newton will make the district and class 3A even tougher.
