Getting some fresh legs on the course, the Pella High boys’ and girls’ cross country teams still placed second to host Grinnell at yesterday’s meet. Ciara Buchheit led the way for the Lady Dutch with a seventh place time of 16:19, and Payton Phelps was ninth at 16:31. Pella Christian and PCM were each at Johnston, and Eagles’ coach, Jocelyn Meinders tells KNIA/KRLS Sports her teams did great with strong races and superb finishes on a hilly course. Final official results were not made available. KNIA/KRLS Sports will post final results of each meet when they become official.
