A Knoxville man has lived an incredible life–a heroic life. His plane shot down in World War II, a prisoner of war for 11 weeks, with multiple military commendations including France’s Legion of Honor, he watched historic Ken Locke Stadium being built, and played on Knoxville’s first football team. And tonight, Knoxville’s homecoming, he’s honorary captain of the football team.
