The Knoxville School Board can expect to see more presentations from student trips like the one made Monday by the Summer Science Club.
The group showed a slide presentation of their June trip to various state parks and campgrounds across the Midwest, including Lake McBride State Park, Mammoth Cave National Park, West Lake Park, and Klondike Park. They also showed off some fossils that were discovered during the trip and talked about what their own experiences were like.
Superintendent Cassi Murra says presentations such as this helps the school board renew their passion for their positions and remember what their job is all about.
Other student trip presentations to the Knoxville School Board are planned, including one by the Future Farmers of America, who will be taking a trip to the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, the end of this month.
