A week long tribute to area veterans wrapped up with the inaugural Salute To Marion County Veterans breakfast at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum Friday.

Over 100 people came out for the event put on by the Commission on Veterans Affairs along with the Marion County Democrats and Marion County Republicans.

It offered information for veterans regarding healthcare, speeches from State Congressman Greg Heartsill and State Senator Amy Sinclair, and a patriotic sing-a-long with Katie Davis and her 4th grade class from Northstar Elementary.
