Streetscape - Main
Concerns were brought up at the latest Streetscape meeting that could change how the project proceeds.

Hawkeye Construction said they would have an extra crew available so that work could be done on both Main and Robinson Streets at the same time.
But now crews are being sent to work on other jobs, which worries city officials. Knoxville City Manager Harold Stewart said that if the extra crews the city was promised are not made available, he doesn’t want to have Robinson worked on and risk having the road torn up during Nationals.
Hawkeye officials believe there should not be an issue with having an extra crew to work on Robinson.
Construction crews will also continue to work as normal despite concerns with the possible collapse of a county building that suffered a partial structure failure last weekend.
The next Streetscape meeting will be 10am Tuesday, March 31st, at Community Room in the Knoxville City Hall.
