After relieving themselves of additional duties by withdrawing their application for Hotel/Motel Tax funds, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce can now focus on areas they didn’t have time for previously, according to Chamber President Annie Leonard.

Leonard says some of those things including letting citizens know what their member businesses and organizations are up to within the community, like special events and anniversaries. She believes it’s important for the Chamber to do a better job of communicating on behalf of its members.
