Felony charges have been filed against a Knoxville man for allegedly threatening his wife and putting his children in danger.

26-year-old Travis Lee Flesher has been charged with three counts of neglect or abandonment of a dependent person and one count each of domestic assault and first degree harassment.
According to court documents, Flesher had been in an argument with his wife on the afternoon of Saturday, March 14th, when he threw a coffee table at a television set in the living room while two other adults and three children were in the room. He then grabbed his wife by the face and threatened to harm her before leaving with one of the children and a shotgun to a nearby residence.
Flesher has waived his right to a preliminary hearing. A new court date has not yet been set.
