A Pella man is accused of influencing a minor to steal money from family members.
On Wednesday, Arland Dean Lamb was arrested by the Pella Police Department on a Marion County Warrant. According to court documents, Lamb allegedly asked his son to steal more than $6000 from the child’s great-grandparents on multiple occasions from November 2014 to January 2015. Police say Lamb promised gifts in exchange for the thefts. He’s charged with contributing to a minor’s delinquency, a class C felony, and 2nd degree theft. He was released on $15,000 bond.
