Felony neglect charges have been filed against a Pleasantville woman for allegedly assaulting her grandchildren.

According to court documents, 41-year-old Vanessa Blythe Regan was seen by witnesses yelling at the children at a grocery store. She then allegedly punched one of the children in the face and kicked another twice causing her to fall.
Regan was arrested by a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy and has been charged with two counts of neglect or abandonment of a dependent person, both Class C felonies.
A court date has been set for Friday, March 27th.
