Multiple fire departments were called to an out-of-control grass fire in rural Knoxville Friday evening.

It happened at a farm located at 1877 150th Place, near Quebec St. A large burn pile could be seen still in flames while fire crews doused several spot fires along a ridge and in a pair of ditches that surround the land.
Knoxville Township Rural Fire Department, Indiana Township Fire Department, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene.
