Knoxville Fire and Rescue doused a fire at a residence along Roche St. Friday evening.

Fire crews were called to a residential structure fire at 1010 N Roche St around 10:20pm after a passer-by noticed flames at the back of the residence. When crews arrived, they found a bike and some tarps burning next to the garage. The siding of the garage was made of aluminum and was only scorched by the flames.
No one was injured and the damage was considered minor. A controlled burn from earlier in the day had rekindled, causing the fire.
