Jacob Dreyer was undefeated in four matches as the Central College men’s tennis team split its first two road tests Saturday, getting topped by William Jewell 6-3, before defeating Nebraska Wesleyan, 6-3. Seth Harris playing just down the road from his Nebraska home, teamed with Dreyer to win twice at number two doubles. Dreyer and Harris are 6-2 this spring. Luke Boyd and Dan Bowser competing at number one doubles, got Central’s other win against William Jewell. Against Nebraska Wesleyan Central took the first five singles matches. Boyd, Bowser, Harris and Bryn Bowell a freshman from Pella joined Dreyer as winners. Central, 5-3 this spring, has next week off, then is back at H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse March 6, meeting Buena Vista and Wis.-Eau Claire.
