The Marion County Board of Supervisors met Monday morning. At the meeting the board received updates from the South Central Iowa Solid Waste agency and South Central Iowa Youth and Family Services. They also answered questions from citizens about entering a loan agreement in order to acquire a building to house some county and related nonprofit agency offices. The board hopes to purchase the old Farm and Home building and move the offices in there within the calendar year.
