The Pella Christian boys knew they had a test with the Norwalk Warriors coming to town, but the guys couldn’t muster an attack against an athletic squad and fell 8-0 last night. Head Coach Garrett Brouwer says the score doesn’t reflect how well his guys were able to hang tough. The Eagles fall to 3-5 and will host Des Moines Roosevelt next Tuesday. The girls fell to a similar fate against the Warriors as they fell 6-0 in Norwalk. Girls coach Mike Buchheit says his defense battled hard throughout, only allowing two of those goals in the first half. They drop to 2-7 on the season and continue action on the road against Des Moines Lincoln on Monday.
