The PCM girls golf team finished a very long week on Friday night finishing with nine holes at Westwood Golf Course giving them 45 holes played in three days. The Lady Mustangs finished 7th out of 9 teams, as Breanna Maher led the team after carding a 47. PCM girls golf coach Val Edwards thought the team played well for the size of schools that were at the tournament and the amount of golf the team has played over the last few days. PCM is back in action on Monday night with 18 holes at Pine Knolls in Knoxville. The PCM boys golf team finished second on Friday in a triangular with Gilbert and Roland-Story. All six golfers for the Mustangs carded scores in the 40’s with Datyton Boell leading the way with a 41. PCM boys head golf coach Dale VanderLinden was pleased with how his team played and hopes that they can carry this momentum into sectionals. PCM continues play today at Colfax-Mingo.
